AirComfort System™

Our AirComfort System™ looks dramatically different and provides the ultimate fit and comfort.

Ariaprene™ (perforated neoprene) straps [A], wrapped in mesh, lightly pad the shoulder strap area without restricting air flow through the straps.

Inside the PFD, channeled pads of EVA bump foam [B] minimize skin contact to promote air circulation. In the EVA bump foam pads, the spacing between bumps promote air flow, dissipate moisture, minimize surface contact with skin, and is covered with comfort mesh. The air channels [C] in between pads create natural paths for air circulation.

The chimney shaped mesh vent [D] drafts air through the back panel. The Baja Back [E], a large channel of mesh through the mid-section, enhances venting and nests with kayak seats.

For the floatation, layers of skived (cut on angle) PE foam [F] provide maximum freedom of movement and prevent chaffing. The thin layers of shaped foam [G] contour to the body for great fit and maximum mobility. The contouring is visible in the shape of the PFD. View Evolve and Eon PFDs.

Women's AirComfort System™

The Women‘s AirComfort System™ utilizes the form and function of the unisex system above with one major difference. A contoured, recessed chest area eliminates bulk at the bust line. Mini EVA bump foam [H], covered with comfort mesh, minimizes skin contact without restricting air flow. View Evolve Women's and Eon Women's PFDs.

Angler AirComfort System™

The same form and function of the unisex system above but with a different  Baja Back feaure. Foam panels begin to taper higher on the back and the foam carries to the waist belt. This allows for maximum comfort with chairs like the Element seating system. View Evolve Angler and Eon Angler PFDs.
